For owner Brian, Northwest Auto Service wasn’t just a business opportunity. It was the result of over two decades of hard work, experience, and a lifelong goal finally becoming reality.

After spending 21 years as a technician, Brian had seen just about everything in the automotive world. He worked on countless vehicles, solved difficult diagnostics, and most importantly, learned what customers truly wanted from an auto shop: honesty, transparency, and people they could trust.

When the opportunity came to take over the former NAS Auto Garage location in Worthington, Ohio, it felt like the right moment to build something of his own.

Rather than starting from scratch, Brian wanted to continue the legacy of a shop that had already been serving the community for decades. Originally known as Northwest Auto Service years ago, the shop had long been a familiar name in the area before becoming NAS Auto Garage. Bringing back the Northwest Auto Service name felt like restoring part of that history while creating a new future at the same time.

Since taking over the business, the focus has been simple:

• Treat customers honestly
• Explain repairs clearly
• Help people understand what their vehicle actually needs
• Create a shop experience that feels welcoming instead of stressful

The shop itself has already gone through updates, including improvements to the waiting area, branding, technology, and online booking capabilities. But the bigger vision goes beyond appearances.

Northwest Auto Service is about building long-term relationships with customers and becoming the kind of local shop people feel comfortable recommending to family and friends.

Brian understands that bringing your car into a shop can sometimes feel intimidating or confusing. That’s why the goal is never to pressure people into repairs they don’t need. Instead, customers are walked through what needs immediate attention, what can wait, and what options make the most sense for their budget and safety.

Today, Northwest Auto Service proudly continues serving the Worthington and Columbus communities with a fresh start, backed by decades of experience and a commitment to doing things the right way.
